use.fo 支援繁體中文（Traditional Chinese / 繁體中文）語音輸入，適用於 macOS、Windows、iOS 和 Android。語音轉文字由 Whisper Large V3 Turbo 驅動，支援 Whisper 的所有語言，包含繁體中文和普通話。AI 改寫功能同樣支援中文輸出，可搭配 Subscription、BYOK 或 Local AI 使用。

This page covers use.fo's Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) voice typing support — including which languages are supported by the underlying STT model, how Chinese dictation works on each platform, and which plan is best for Chinese-speaking users in Taiwan and elsewhere.

Limitations

Note

use.fo 的中文改寫效果取決於 AI provider 的中文能力。Subscription 使用 use.fo 選定的 provider（目前主要為 Groq）；BYOK 使用者可選擇對中文輸出更優的 provider。

Note

Local AI 的中文 Rewrite 使用 Qwen 3.5 0.8B 模型，對日常中文輸出效果良好，但複雜書面中文或專業術語的改寫品質可能不如使用更大雲端模型的 Subscription 或 BYOK。

Note

繁體字與簡體字的轉換不是 use.fo 的內建功能。若需要輸出繁體中文，建議在 AI provider 層面設定繁體中文偏好，或使用 Custom Prompt 指定輸出格式。

Methodology

  • Language support verification: confirmed via Whisper Large V3 Turbo's official language support list.
  • Platform testing: confirmed Traditional Chinese dictation works on macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android using Subscription and BYOK.
  • Rewrite mode output: Chinese speech input produces Chinese text output when the source language is Chinese. Translate mode can convert Chinese speech to English text or vice versa.
  • Local AI language support: use.fo Local AI uses Whisper Large V3 Turbo locally, which includes the same language support as the cloud version.
