1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to use.fo (the "App"), a mobile application developed and operated by use.fo ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User," "you," or "your") and use.fo.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, install, access, or use the App.

2. Eligibility and User Accounts

To use our App, you must be at least 13 years of age. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2.1 Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of the App, you may need to create a user account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

use.fo provides the following features and services:

  • User Accounts/Profiles: Personalized user accounts with profile management capabilities
  • In-App Purchases: Optional digital content, features, or services available for purchase within the App
  • Push Notifications: Alerts and messages sent to your device even when the App is not actively in use
  • Social Media Sharing: Functionality that allows you to share content from the App to social media platforms
  • Third-Party Services: Integration with external services and platforms to enhance App functionality
  • Subscription Services: Recurring payment options for premium features or content

3.1 Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App or its features.

4. Purchases and Payments

4.1 In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases. These transactions are processed through your device's app store (such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. We have no obligation to provide refunds or credits for any purchases made through the App.

4.2 Subscription Services (iOS App Store)

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions, or turn off auto-renewal, by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. If you change devices or reinstall the App, you may restore your previously purchased active subscriptions by using the 'Restore Purchases' option within the App settings.

5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

When using the App, you agree NOT to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Create derivative works based on the App
  • Use automated means to access or collect data from the App
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code to the App
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, or impair the App

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by use.fo and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or publicly perform any portion of the App without our explicit written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERRORS, OR THAT THE APP IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7.1 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Given the probabilistic nature of machine learning, use.fo's AI rewriting features may occasionally produce inaccurate, inappropriate, or incomplete outputs. The generated content is provided for informational and creative purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, or medical advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the text before utilizing or publishing it.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL USE.FO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and all provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall remain in effect.

10. GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent, but we may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.
  • Amendments: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
